The California Family Law Facilitator Association is a voluntary association of family law facilitators and other self-help providers who serve the California court system. The Association’s mission is to provide support to California’s family law facilitators and self-help providers throughout the state. The Association is a member-run, non-profit corporation unaffiliated with any governmental agency.
The California Family Law Facilitator Association meets online on the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm. Meetings frequently include code and case law updates, discussions about self-help best practices and rotating spotlights on self-help offices, leadership and staff. Although we frequently address important topics, meetings are informal, supportive and welcoming.
The Association also maintains the website you’re currently viewing. Members have access to the website’s message board and practice resources that other members have shared. These resources include custom forms and info sheets, staff training materials, presentation materials and practice tools.
The Association also hosts an annual luncheon at the Judicial Council's AB 1058 Conference, open to all facilitator and self-help attendees. The luncheon provides an opportunity for members and non-members to break bread in a friendly, supportive attmosphere.
Members of the California Family Law Facilitator Association pay annual dues of $20. If you’re interested in joining the Association, please complete our membership interest form to start the process.
